Meet Jules

I'm a certified UK Athletics Coach, a qualified PT, Pre/Post natal Exercise & Nutrition Specialist and Menopause Fitness Expert.  

I've been running for over 30 years, have experience in race distances from 5km to ultra marathon and it is a privilege and with great honour that I share my love of the sport with others. 

RunningRewire exists so that you can rewire the way  you approach your training through peri-menopause and beyond.  

As an athlete in my early 50's, I have experienced first hand how changes to the female body can affect fitness and performance.

Rather than letting these changes become a barrier to running and exercise, I help women train more effectively so that they may continue to enjoy running, continue to get stronger, and continue to achieve their goals, regardless of age! 

So why work with me?

I make sure I get to know each and every one of my athletes, whether they train with me in person or remotely.

Learning your background, lifestyle and your goals I take an athlete centred, holistic approach encompassing not only your running, but also strength training, injury prevention and mindset, so that I ensure we find what works best for you.  

There is no one size fits all when it comes to menopause, running and fitness, so don't leave your training to guess work (or a generic plan, app or AI!) and instead work with a real person and join the growing RunningRewire community.

Remote run coaching as well as private 121 and coaching available.

Personal run coaching delivered and adapted weekly via mobile app.

 

The best way to get consistent results, wherever you are, with Jules, your coach who is there every step of the way, helping with accountability and motivation and championing you to dream big and believe you can... whether you are training for your first event, going for a GFA or working towards completing your 6 star journey!  Whatever your goals, remote coaching is the perfect solution.

Having a coach and a training plan keeps me accountable and my newfound consistency is a direct result of this.  Reflection and feedback - both giving and receiving - are critical aspects of the coaching partnership so that it can be tailored to the individual. Jules walks the walk (or runs the run) and understands the specific challenges that face a working mum of a certain age training for a marathon (or six!). Support, encouragement and congratulations from friends and family are important, but getting all that from Jules, who really knows how hard it is, is invaluable.
